# Proofable brand pack

This directory is generated from one source: `scripts/brand/build-proofable-brand-assets.mjs` plus the canonical values in `design/tokens/neus.tokens.json`.

## Use

- Use the solid `master/proofable-mark.svg` as the geometry master.
- Use `master/proofable-mark-arctic.svg` on graphite and neutral dark fields.
- Use the white mark on dark photography and the black mark on light print fields.
- Use the outlined files in `lockups/` for exported collateral. Do not typeset a replacement wordmark.
- Use matching sizes from `web/` for favicon, app, PWA, marketplace, and email contexts.
- Use the shared `social/` shell rather than creating channel-specific visual systems.

## Geometry and clear space

The mark is a circular ring with a right-hand crescent: the crescent is the remaining slice of a same-radius echo circle after the ring disk, expanded by a uniform gap, is subtracted. The right edge is a circular tangent. Do not crop it with the artboard, a square mask, or a circle mask.

Keep the square artboard and its built-in side bearing intact. At larger placements, preserve at least one ring-stroke of additional clearance around the artboard. The minimum supported digital size is 16 px; use the generated PNG tier at 16–512 px and the SVG above that.

## Prohibited changes

Do not redraw, trace, skew, rotate, outline, add a glow or drop shadow, change the ring/crescent gap, clip the crescent, or regenerate the mark with an image model. The gradient variant is presentation-only and never replaces the solid master in product UI.

## Rebuild and verify

Run `npm run brand:build-proofable`. The command regenerates all derivatives and writes `manifest.json` with source geometry and SHA-256 checksums. Verify 16, 20, 24, 32, 64, 128, and 512 px on both dark and light backgrounds before release.

The NEUS particle-ring assets one directory above are retained only for explicit protocol and trust attribution. They are not alternate Proofable marks.
